Inspired by the elegant Belle Époque and the refined flavours of the Nouveau-Niçoise cuisine, THE DUCHESS opened October 2015 in Amsterdam’s historical KAS Bank building. Exquisite products are the star du spectacle in a fresh and elegant cuisine. From breakfast until dinner. Infamous dishes are the Dover SoleMeuniere, Beef Wellington and THE DUCHESS Seafood Pasta.

As one would expect from culinary nobility, the Afternoon Tea earned a prominent role at THE DUCHESS. The extravagant display in the tearoom offers a spread of niche pastries and scones served with signature marmalades and conserves. This feast is devoured in a stunning imperial setting designed by BARANOWITZ + KRONENBERG. The prizewinning bar offers highly creative adaptations of French and Savoy Apéritif. The menu features a selection of punch and French Vermouth, a wide range of beverages such as Absinthe and Pastis, and forgotten cocktails from the roaring 1920s and 1930s.
