The Rembrandt House has been lovingly restored and offers a glimpse into the everyday life of Rembrandt in Amsterdam. Many of his famous paintings were created here. This museum also contains several items recovered during a recent archaeological survey of the grounds.
In addition to an almost complete collection of Rembrandt etchings and sketches, there are inspiring exhibitions about his predecessors, contemporaries and modern artists who were inspired by him. The museum also features presentations, events and educational activities for children.
